Dr. Amy Neligon
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Amy Neligon has been a member of the Leesville Animal Hospital Staff since May, 2005.
Dr. Neligon attended the University of New Hampshire and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with a minor in environmental conservation, in 1997. She later attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State University and was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Neligon has professional interests in dermatology and internal medicine.
Previous to her arrival at Leesville Animal Hospital, Dr. Neligon practiced medicine at Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital in Fayetteville from 2004 to 2005. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Neligon enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeffrey, and daughter Katy. The animal members of the family include three cats, Samantha, Ferris and Otis, and a Jack Russell Terrier named Cody. In her spare time, Dr. Neligon enjoys gardening, home improvement and photography.
